Boz is a really captivating little bay colt, born 16.4.2016, that has a beautiful movement and a temperament to die for. He is by Cyden Bodyguard Moorland out of a T Movistar (Jazz) mare and this combination is sure to see him succeed in a dressage home. Nothing has been a stress with this little man and he is always first to greet you in the field, a definite ‘people-person’ without being bolshy. It is expected he will make around 15.3- 16hh so perfect for a rider who doesn’t want a massive horse but still wants quality and movement.
Cyden Bodyguard Moorland is an exceptional stallion, not only for his bloodlines (Gribaldi x Negro x Cocktail), but also for his trainability, competition record and the success of his progeny. He, at only 10, already has a KWPN Approved son as well as offspring successfully competing in the age classes -Gladstone winning the Shearwater championship in 2015 and another already qualified for the 6 year old championship at the 2016 Nationals. Bodyguard has the most amazing temperament and trainable attitude (video of him on the Cyden Dressage page happily being ridden beautifully by an 11 year old girl), that he appears to be passing on to all his progeny.
Boz’s dam is a lovely, compact mare. She is by T-Movistar who was successfully competed by Carl Hester at PSG/ Small Tour Championship level, and is by the world-class stallion Jazz who was sire of over 30 graded sons including the much admired young dressage stallion Johnson and the stunning Grand Prix dressage horse and London Olympic Silver medallist Parzival.
These bloodlines, Boz’s lovely nature, conformation and the effortless cadence of his paces make him surely a talent for the future.
